We value these in our life together as Settle Memorial United Methodist Church and as part of the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Extravagant Generosity – We have a sense that everything we have is a gift from God.  We value sharing our lives, our time and our resources, together.

Intentional Faith Development – Whatever is nurtured in our lives will grow.  We are intentional to create spaces where we can explore life with God.  In our small groups, Sunday school and short-term studies, there is a place for you.

Passionate Worship – We are one church with three worship opportunities.   We celebrate that Jesus meets us when we gather together.  Our talented contemporary worship band guides us in modern music in Shout, and outstanding musicians lead songs in the Traditional Worship services.

Radical  Hospitality – When you come to Settle, we want you to know that whoever you are and wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.  Whether you are 2 or 92, there is a place here for you.

Risk-taking Mission and Service – We love to serve our community and beyond, whether through a meal at St. Benedict’s shelter, giving away back to school backpacks or hosting a bike ride to support missions.   It is built into our church’s DNA to lend a hand.  When you come to Settle, you will have no trouble finding a place to give of yourself.

The Contemporary Service Worship Team offers a modern approach to praise and worship music. We are blessed to have talented musicians in the worship band and a great technical team to provide behind-the-scenes work. The band practices Sunday mornings before the service.
